Starter’s Guide to Alter Dimension v1:
1. Important Reminders
1.1 Alter Dimension does not reward players for being rich in gold, the goal is to get stronger (grinding) and follow the storyline to have even more access to the contents of the game.
1.2 Only REDEEM CODE ITEMS will be “RARE.”
1.3 DO NOT SKIP MAPS, especially when you're just starting off. You started there for a reason, there is no need to /join or /goto players who are talking at Trade/World Chat.
1.4 THERE ARE NO CLASSES HERE, ONLY JOBS.
1.5 This private server is a REAL MMORPG, take note of that. This is not the same as Augoeides or Hidden Project
1.6 "No easy life here." -Kathleen
2. Getting into the Game
2.1 New Interface
2.1.1 So, getting into the game with the new interface might shock or weird you out, so identify all the things within the HUD.
2.1.2 Starting from the upper left, the Character Name, HP, Mana, and ENERGY. As the currencies below your character’s face, starting from top to bottom: BPs (Bonus Points), LCs (Loyal Coins), Fragments, Gold, Copper.
2.1.3 Bottom middle are your skills, you might be confused why there are no skills because you decide what your skills will be. Click one of the green plus signs in one of the skill boxes to add a skill, read carefully of what does each skills do. (Preferably start with the attack tier)
2.1.4 You will gain more knowledge of the things in the HUD as you play through, these are just the basics that are covered first.
2.1.5 With all these things in mind, you are now ready to get out of Estarta! Now walk to Ivillis by following the arrows!
2.2 Ivillis (The Start of EVERYTHING + Storyline)
2.2.1 Getting to Ivillis, at the start you will see an arrow to the front, it will alert you that it is dangerous, because that is not the right way. The right way is to your left, it may be covered by the chat or a player so you don’t see it clearly. (First common mistake)
2.2.2 Follow the arrows first before you start killing monsters in the area, until you arrive to the area where an NPC with a guitar is on, click the NPC to start off your adventure! (By clicking the NPCs in-game is equal to interacting with them)
2.2.3 The last quest might require you to have a higher mastery level or level in general, kill the BEARS ONLY, the bears give a higher mastery points and exp than slimes.
3. Leveling Up
3.1 Finishing Ivillis and the following things after it will probably get you to level 5-8, you have probably now had access to Thraveal and other maps in-game.
3.2 Figure out what monsters that gives off high experience and job points before farming in an area. Click on the mob, then its tab on the upper middle of your screen, and click Information. There it will open a new tab with the monster’s description
3.3 Have a game plan, do not waste your energy on useless monsters.
3.4 Example of being efficient and effective leveling:
• Let us say you are level 8 and mastery 4 or 5 on Novice Job, and you have access to Sunken. Each of the monsters there gives off different exp and job points.
Undead Pirate and Fisherman has the same exp and job point rewards, but Fisherman has a higher damage, which means you have to heal. Meaning it is not efficient, because you stop killing mobs each time your health is low, especially when you had used an exp boost.
Meaning that killing the Undead Pirate is more efficient than killing the Fisherman.
4.Fragments and Enhancing
4.1 Fragments are gained by salvaging equipments (Weapons, Armors, Capes, and etc. Except Items and Quest items.
4.2 How to Salvage extra/useless Equipments?
4.2.1 Open up your inventory, click on the equipment you want to salvage, on the right-side preview tab of the equipment that popped-up click the “skull” icon,
4.3 How to enhance my weapon?
4.3.1 The Enhancement Shop is located at the Pub in Avalon, Zhoom specifically.
4.3.2 Enhancing is different, enhancing is not always guaranteed to succeed.
4.3.3 “I have purchased a +8 Enhancement Scroll, but why is my weapon is only +2?” Your weapon must go through all the levels first, but it doesn’t mean that you purchasing a +8 is useless if the weapon has to go through each level first. Using a higher-level scroll on a low-level weapon guarantees more success in enhancing a weapon.
5. Golds and Coppers
5.1 Coppers are mostly the rewards when killing monsters, with the exception of World Bosses, they also drop golds as a participation reward for killing it.
5.2 How I do get Coppers fast?
5.2.1 Farm coppers along when you’re farming exp, there are no monsters that gives more coppers than exp, every kill rewards are balanced.
5.2.2 You can also obtain coppers via converting your gold into coppers. 1 Gold is equal to 30k Coppers (30,000 Coppers). (1g = 30k c)
5.3 How do I get Golds?
5.3.1 Golds are obtained via converting your coppers into gold. 50k Coppers (50,000 Coppers) is equal to 1 Gold. (50k c = 1g)
6.Evolving Jobs (Check first: http://augoeides.world/library for Jobs)
6.1 You can evolve your current Novice Job at Thraveal. (Take note that you cannot transfer to a new job without a “Job Reset Scroll”)
6.2 You need to be Mastery 8 first at Novice before you evolve your job into another.
6.3 I’m now Mastery 8 at Novice but I still can’t evolve my job.
6.3.1 You need to do the challenge at the job you want. You need to kill 100 monsters to obtain the contract for the job you want.
